We will only have a few hundred Jersey Devils for NYCC. I found out Saturday that the shipment of Jersey Devil plush toys has been delayed and won’t be here in time for comicon. I tried all weekend to find a cheap way to get a few of them here, but it was way too pricey. Today our friend John at RocketUSA.com hooked us up and we will have a few Jersey Devils at the NYCC after all, there will only be a few hundred so they will go quickly. If you want one get there on Friday! Or else you will have to wait until the NJ Zombiefest in Asbury Park NJ on October 30th to get your hands on one.
Other NYCC news!
Doug Paszkiewicz creator of Arsenic Lullaby and contributor to MAD magazine will be a guest at our table. He will be selling copies of his Arsenic Lullaby pilot DVD! I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m sure it’s awesome. An aninmated DVD based on one of the best dark humor comics out there (nominated for both the Eisner and the Harvey awards) produced and directed by Doug himself. He even had a hand in the animations and drew all the story boards from what I understand. This isn’t some watered down hollywood accessible version of the comic, this is a creator driven, better, moving version of the comic.

Sergio Zuniga an ADG fan favorite will be selling all his comics including the all new NYC Subway Sketchbook.
This unique book was drawn in the subway cars riding to and from work. Sergio brings us almost 150 ink sketches of both the unique and ordinary
people that ride the world’s most diverse subway system. I have a copy of this book and I have to say it is one of the most interesting sketch books I’ve seen.

Justin Melkmann the creator of our best selling comic of 2009 “Slap in the face: My obsession with GG Allin” will also be on hand selling an signing his comics.

First time NYCC appearance by our friend Jimmy Comey!
Jimmy Comey first joined us at Wizard World Philadelphia in 2009. He is a fantastic artist with a wide range and a pretty nice guy who was always willing to share his whiskey. He is the author of many comics. I really enjoyed the Donkey Punch ones I got off of him at Wizard. He is really worth checking out (he also did a kick ass mural for Pabst Blue Ribbon that I can’t find any pictures of online).
plus I will be there (Steve Vincent) and if Mike Diana ever gets back to me, maybe we can get him there too.
